I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing for six years as a medical social worker. I have primarily been working with children and families undergoing the heart transplant process and offering them emotional support. In this setting, I of course focus on minimizing medical trauma. However, I also help families with a number of other everyday stressors that may arise, or be triggered during this time. I also have private, individual therapy clients that I see regularly through Telehealth. Through this work I have experience working with individuals coping with stress and anxiety related to work, peers, family, intimate relationships, and just their day to day life.
