Hi! I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Florida, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University and a Master’s degree from Brigham Young University. I have experience working with people facing a variety of challenges and have learned the importance of tailoring my approach depending on the case, in order to meet the unique and specific needs of each client. I gravitate toward a client-centered approach, in which clients can feel empowered to make the decisions that are best for them in an environment that is free of blame and judgement. I believe in creating a space in which clients can increase their self-awareness, improve their ability to use self-direction to make desired changes, increase clarity, improve self-esteem, and boost self-reliance. The modalities I practice in therapy vary depending on the case, but I strive to use evidence-based therapies such as CBT, Mindfulness, Solution Focused and Internal Family Systems.
