I received my Masters of Social Work from Florida State University and my areas of experience include: Anxiety, Depression, Chronic Illness and Medical Disabilities, Domestic Violence, Couples/Relationships, Adjustment Issues, Stress Management, Lifestyle Planning, Coping Skills, Life Transitions, Women’s Issues, Peer Relationships, and Self-Esteem related concerns. I have experience using the following modalities: Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Crisis Intervention. My approach is empathetic and practical while assisting with ways for people to self-explore and think beyond the “here and now”. With a candid and supportive approach I provide an emotional safe zone for people to enhance their personal and relational skills and mindset.
