I am a licensed clinical social worker in Idaho with over 8 years of experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings. In addition, I have experience working in HIV prevention/education, medical facilities and psychiatric hospitals, and I am a social work educator. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression and other challenges related to mood, anxiety, relationship issues, medical/health concerns (including HIV disease), and grief and loss. I have also helped many people who have experienced abuse. My counseling style is focused on the relationship, and I believe that being present and open is of utmost importance. My approach combines narrative therapy, strengths perspective, cognitive-behavioral theory, and solution-focused interventions.
