I have over ten years of experience as a counselor working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, trauma, crisis counseling, grief, divorce, parenting support, and addiction. I spent the first five years of my career working in a residential crisis house where I gained experience with severe and acute mental health issues. With compassion and understanding, I will work with you to help build on your strengths and attain the personal growth you are committed to accomplishing. Above all in my life, I am a mother. I have a beautiful thirteen-year-old daughter who inspires me to be the person she believes I am every day. I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoying what San Diego has to offer. I also have a great love for animals, especially dogs of which I have four. If I have learned anything about life, I have learned that we have a choice every day to make it good or bad. We all have that power.
