Hello, My name is Jillian Holguin and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed in New Jersey and Florida with 11 years of professional work experience. I have experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples/martial counseling, group, and family therapy as well as within a higher level of care settings. I have worked with an at-risk early childhood to late adulthood populations as well as mandated clients. I specialize in trauma, and am a certified trauma specialist, as well as sex-specific treatment. I also provide therapeutic services to clients who may be experiencing anxiety/depression, thought disorders, mood disorders, interpersonal relationship challenges, codependent and or addictive behaviors, and ADHD/OCD. My motto is: “Put Yourself First”. With the obligations, challenges and responsibilities life can throw at us, I find it important to emphasize on every client’s individual needs, encourage my clients to advocate for those needs in all areas of their lives, and really highlight the “power within” that they may not be able to see themselves. I take more of a humanistic approach and am a collective utilizing different methods and techniques from various treatment modalities such as TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness breath work techniques, brainspotting, behavior modification, NLP and the tapping solution to say a few. I like to collaborate with my clients on what we as a team, feel is best for their treatment plan and goals. I went to Seton Hall University for my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, receiving a certificate in Gerontology. From there, I completed the accelerated MSW program at Rutgers University graduating Summa Cum Laude. I also received a certificate in advanced assessment and diagnosis from New York University, a certificate in pharmacology from Harvard University and a certified Telehealth practitioner from Thomas Jefferson University.
