I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State and have been in practice for 16 years. My focus has been on helping people to effect the change they are looking to make via motivational approaches, cognitive-behavioral interventions, person-centered and solution-focused interventions. I work with the belief that people are the experts in their own lives and my role is to help them get the solutions they are looking for to their personal life’s challenges. I use an eclectic approach to help you find what works in your life. I understand busy schedules and will work with you to find time for yourself and those that matter most to you. I specialize in treating addictions and mental health complex disorders (co-occurring disorders) to include trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, parenting, gambling disorders, parenting concerns, and family therapy. In addition, I am experienced in working with the LGBTQ community, intimate partner violence, anger management, self-care, and vicarious trauma (Compassion fatigue).
