Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I have been working in the field of mental health and addictions for over 10 years, and I love what I do for a living. When working with client’s my goal is to help address the core issues that are driving the behaviors that are causing problems in a person’s life and my goal is to take the journey with you to solve it using the client’s strengths. I deliver counseling using various techniques depending on the client’s needs. My favorite approach and one I find most effective for many of the problems client’s come to see me about is Cognitive Behavioral therapy. My goal within sessions is to challenge thinking that is causing a person to feel bad or engage in behaviors that is not conducive to life. I am a motivator at heart and know that one day I will be doing motivational speaking on a bigger stage but for right now you have me one on one coaching and motivating you to understand that you have the skills to overcome whatever problem you may be facing. I don’t have a magic wand but I do have skills to help you start to work in the direction you want to go in and the empathy and care to see you through.
