My name is Patrick and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working with adults experiencing a variety of life challenges including military issues to include deployment, reintegration and trauma; as well as medical issues; stress; anxiety; depression; and a variety of other adjustment issues. I focus on identifying thinking issues that may cause emotional blocks to happiness and unhealthy decisions and assisting individuals with challenging negative beliefs to bring about more adaptive thoughts leading to successful outcomes. My therapeutic process is framed in a very Mindful and Present lens with forward moving Goals that see the benefit of Past experiences simply to identify what worked and what didn’t and the benefit of looking to the Future primarily for preparing and planning then enjoying the experiences of the journey in the Present. The first session is simply an opportunity for an individual to discuss their concerns in a relaxed, confidential environment and begin the process of making changes that lead to solutions, better outcomes and happiness.
