Hello! My name is Johnna and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan. I also hold an active CAADC, which demonstrates my additional training and commitment to working with those who have concerns their substance use patterns may be unhealthy. I have over three years of field experience in settings including short-term crisis residential treatment, substance use treatment, Community Mental Health crisis work, and individual private practice counseling. I have experience in helping clients learn to navigate stress and anxiety, cope with addictions and work to maintain sobriety, recover from trauma and abuse, and learn a new normal after loss. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, compassion, and without judgement. I believe everyone has it within themselves to overcome life challenges and I take my role of supporting you very seriously. I will work to tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs, and balance pushing for growth with meeting you where you are at.
