My name is Joseph Young. I’m an LPC in Pennsylvania. I have worked in the mental health field for over 12 years. I graduated from Antioch University with a master’s degree in Mental Health & Counseling. I’ve worked in residential treatment facilities with adolescents whose ages range from 13 to 18, provided In-home therapy in a family setting, worked with the school system, provided psychotherapy for an outpatient mental health facility, and am currently working in private practice. Therapy is about connecting with and formulating a safe relationship to explore and address your concerns through the therapeutic process; empowering you to achieve your goals becoming happier and more fulfilled in your relationships, life, and yourself. I want to assist you with achieving whatever solutions and/or life changes you are looking for in a safe and open environment. I use an eclectic approach working from multiple modalities that best fit the client’s goals, needs, and experiences. I have experience working with adolescents, and adults with varying diagnoses. I specialize in the treatment of anger, anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship issues, self-esteem building, and stress management.
