Through such practices, I have come to understand the value of becoming curious about our present mental state. I believe paying close attention to our experience is fundamental in developing emotional resiliency. Thus, I utilize mindfulness and somatic approaches in supporting people to become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and body sensations. In doing so, I trust that our ability to welcome our experience creates possibilities for healing and being emotionally stronger. I have over 8 years of experience working in multiple mental health settings with people of different ages, ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, and various mental health conditions. I welcome people from all walks of life, and have worked with a wide range of clients. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. My educational background includes two masters in psychology.
