Hello, my name us Juliana Montoya, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from FIU and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Carlos Albizu University (Miami). I have experience working with clients who have dealt with Trauma, Domestic Violence, Individual and Couples Counseling, Grief, Anxiety, Depression. I work with individuals offering assistance in learning how to cope with emotional distress, past or present, as well as providing tools to make positive changes. I work with individuals and couples age 18 and over, addressing issues such as Depression, Anxiety, Low Self-Esteem, Relationship problems, Stress Management, Life transition, grief and trauma. My goals as a therapist is to collaborate with clients in a manner that best fits their values, identity and needs in an effort to create a trusting therapeutic relationship mutual respect and a safe environment for people to share their stories and feel heard.
