I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina, and nationally rostererd Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and Master of Social work from North Carolina State University’s Advanced Standing Program. I have experience working with clients of all ages in school, community, clinic, and private practice settings. My specialties of practice are centered around CBT techniques, and Motivational Interviewing. I believe in a solution focused approach, building on the inherent skills and strengths that every human being holds. I am a strong advocate for self-compassion, and developing skills to foster self-care. My areas of expertise include trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, anger management, and managing burnout.
