I am a Texas state licensed counselor with nine years’ experience with mental health care. I have worked in roles providing psychosocial rehabilitation, counseling and director of clinical services within the community mental health environment. Each role has assisted with my clinical development to focus on strengths people possess to make meaningful changes. I work within a holistic/integrative approach to make each session dynamic and creative based on content you bring to session and goals you want to achieve. I have experience with Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interview, Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, Illness Management and Recovery, and Seeking Safety. Using these, and other approaches/modalities, I have worked with people who struggle with relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma/abuse.
