ABOUT ME My name is Kambria Thorne. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Mississippi. I am a National Certified Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. I have a passion for providing support and treatment to individuals seeking help with managing and improving their mental health. I have more than 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various mental health settings. I have helped many clients work through the many aspects of mental health to include depression, anxiety, crisis situations and trauma. In my work with these different populations, I work from a client-centered perspective which focuses on client’s strengths as opposed to concentrating on negatives. This provides a safe space for clients to feel heard, understood, and respected. I treat everyone with admiration and kindness. I work to ensure that our sessions will be tailored to your desires and goals. My goal as we embark on this journey is to always create a positive therapeutic relationship in which you can openly share your thoughts and feelings. My approach combines but is not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-centered, and/or solution focused therapy.
