Hello, thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. My name is Kathiana Edouard and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 5 years of experience working in the behavioral health field. I have worked in a variety of settings that include residential programs and outpatient programs. I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, complex trauma/abuse, multicultural concerns, women’s issues, and difficulties in adjusting to life changes. I also have experience with addressing interpersonal conflicts. My therapeutic style derives from a focus on creating a safe space in which my client and I can develop a positive therapeutic rapport and essentially develop a sense of teamwork. As apart of my client’s team, I will empower my client in beginning the journey of healing and recovery. To do so, I incorporate holistic, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral techniques into my therapeutic approach. Ultimately, I believe in creating a setting that is empathic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental.
