Welcome ! I would like to introduce myself. I’m Kathleen Gallagher and I have been a Master’s Level Clinician for the past 25 years. I received my Bachelor of Social Work degree from Eastern Michigan University and my Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University. I have worked in a Community Mental Health setting for 29 years with Children, Families and Adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, severe emotional disturbance and mental illness. I have also provided supervision to clinicians for the past 17 years. I practice in a person centered, strength based approach. I have extensive training in Trauma , Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Compassion Fatigue. I am have an interest in working with people who are experiencing compassion fatigue and/or burnout in their careers.
