I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Alabama. I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2008 with my MSW. I have experience working with families through both foster care and reunification, substance abuse and individuals with mental illness. I am currently a Social Worker on the inpatient Psychiatric unit at a hospital. I understand that the first step in getting help is being willing to show vulnerability. I believe that everyone should be treated as an individual and that your therapeutic approach should honor that. I have experience in person centered, trauma informed care, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy( DBT), solution focused, and trauma informed care.
