I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, negative body image, and all forms of eating disorders. Clients who come to see me may have been recently diagnosed with an eating disorder or have been struggling for years. Some are unsure if the have an eating disorder, yet struggle with food and their body. It is important to me to facilitate self-empowerment through coping/behavioral skills and strengthening cognitive insight, while honoring that change is hard. Through our therapeutic relationship, I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where we can move together towards healing. I practice from a Health at Every Size framework. I utilize evidence based practice such as, family based treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy, to support adolescents, and adults.
