I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma with 10 years of experience working as a therapist for individuals and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting issues, and adjustment issues. I also helped many individuals whose trauma experiences impact their ability to have healthy relationships with family and friends. I received my masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University. I am a Registered Play Therapist and I have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Theraplay (attachment therapy for families), and Adoption Competency. My counseling style is accepting and interactive. I believe that you are the expert of your own life experience, so I don’t offer “one size fits all” advice. My feedback will be tailored to your unique situation. My approach is client-centered with a blend of positive psychology, psychodynamic and family systems counseling. I value the contribution neuroscience has made to the field of counseling, and I enjoy helping people understand why their brain works the way it does (and how to change it!).
