Greetings, I’m Kim and I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, certified in Clinical Trauma Treatment, with a successful consulting partnership in Rhode Island. I’m committed to the mental health and well-being of my clients and have been providing clinical services in various settings for the past 15 years. In my practice I assist clients coping with depression, anxiety, relationship issues and those seeking trauma resolution. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating all with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, client centered and rational-emotive counseling. These advanced methods promote healing and desired change in a unique, gentle, and respectful manner. Clients tell me I am a mindful listener, easy to talk to and genuine in my approach to build a therapeutic relationship. I offer a flexible schedule with whatever mode of communication suits you best. I begin each new journey with clients starting where they are and always having them in the driver seat of change.
