I am a licensed mental health counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with over 13 years of experience providing supports to individuals dealing with behavioral and mental health diagnoses, substance use, depression, anxiety, trauma, co-occurring, suicide, and life stressors. My therapeutic styles are person-centered, nurturing, warm, supportive, compassionate and interactive. I believe that unconditional positive regard, empathy, and being authentic are key elements to building rapport and a therapeutic alliance. I understand that it can be a difficult to ask for help so it’s’ important for me to provide a safe space for individuals to ensure they are being heard and understood. I use evidenced based therapies including cognitive and behavior therapies, talk therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, trauma-informed, skills training, and an integration of therapeutic techniques and interventions. With trust and collaboration, clients will learn how to make meaningful change towards wellness.
