My name is Lance Miguez, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), licensed in Louisiana. I have 12 years of counseling experience in a variety of settings. I have worked with clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings to address problems such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, and serious mental illness. My counseling style is interactive, with the goal of bringing solutions to the problems you are facing today. I believe in treating everyone as an individual who possesses the strength and capability to improve their lives. I approach the counseling relationship from a multimodal perspective in that, both counselor and client work together to identify the source of presenting problem(s), how the problem is affecting other aspects of the individual’s life, and finally finding real life solutions.
