I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Hawaii and also hold a license in Massachusetts. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania. I’ve been a practicing clinician in hospitals and outpatient clinics since 2011. I have extensive experience working with clients who are coping with adjustment to chronic medical conditions, specifically with oncology and infertility. I also have experience working with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and addictive behaviors. My approach and treatment planning is tailored to each client’s specific and unique needs. I incorporate aspects of cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, solution-focused, and mindful-based stress reduction therapies along with motivational interviewing when appropriate. I have worked with clients of varied cultural and religious backgrounds and believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion to empower each individual towards identifying and achieving their goals.
