About me
My name is Lawrence Baker, Jr., and I have worked in social services since 1994, and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2005. During that time I have worked with a variety of populations including veterans and their families, individuals with depression and anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse issues, psychotic disorders, and adjustment disorders. The bulk of my experience has been individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
I am committed to helping people to overcome experiences and learn how to live a fulfilling and meaning life. I am a kind and compassionate listener and enjoy working with people from all backgrounds. My therapy approach is conversational and interactive. Everyone has the right to be heard and treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.
