Hello and welcome to my online profile! Asking for help can be very intimidating and I applaud for you taking this step. I believe that we are all on our own journey and living our best life means building meaningful, authentic connections with others. As a therapist, I’m certified in EMDR which means I’m always listening for how present day challenges are connected to past experiences and what thoughts (good or bad) you have about yourself as a result. I also use DBT and other forms of cognitive behavior therapy to help clients improve the way they see themselves, others, and the world. In terms of training, I completed my undergraduate studies at Midwestern State University, earning a Bachelor of Social Work in 2007. I graduated from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work in 2009. I’ve had experience working with teens in crisis, youth in foster care, women in recovery, adults with chronic mental illness, and more.
