Clinical training and experience includes: • Registered clinician with ATTACh (Association for Training on Trauma and Attachment in Children), which requires extensive training in attachment and trauma • Over 15 years experience working with adoptive families with a focus on attachment in the parent-child relationship • Conducting multi-family group therapy to parents of children with attachment challenges • Certification in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, a type of attachment-focused therapy Available services include: Individual Counseling This service is for individual adults who are seeking help related to understanding how past experiences impact beliefs about self and others as well as current relationships. Introductory sessions can be requested to discuss goals for counseling in order to determine if this is a good fit for you. Parent Consultations This service is limited to parents of adopted children or those with attachment issues. Education, support and assistance is offered to help with the parenting challenges associated with these unique needs.
