About me
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in sunny South Florida, I’ve been lucky to work with individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges for over five years. I earned my master’s degree in social work from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, where I gained valuable experience in providing individual and group therapy services for the treatment of substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions at all levels of care. My approach is client-centered, and I tailor my techniques to meet your unique needs. Whether we connect via phone, or chat, my goal is to support you in achieving your mental health and wellness goals.
My experience has prepared me to help with a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, codependency, career-related concerns, trauma, and grief and loss. I’m dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel at ease exploring your struggles and working toward positive change.
I understand that finding the right therapist and the right mode of communication is crucial for effective therapy. While many clients prefer live video sessions, I want to assure you that phone calls and live chat can be equally effective, especially if you’re waiting for a therapist to become available.
1. **Flexibility and Convenience**: Phone calls and live chat sessions offer greater flexibility, allowing you to connect with me from anywhere, whether you’re at home, at work, or on the go. This can be particularly helpful if you have a busy schedule or limited access to a private space for video calls.
2. **Immediate Support**: Sometimes, waiting for a video session can delay the support you need. With phone calls and live chat, you can receive timely assistance and continue your therapeutic progress without interruption.
3. **Comfort and Privacy**: Some clients find it easier to open up and discuss sensitive topics without the pressure of being on camera. Phone calls and live chat provide a level of anonymity that can make it easier to express your thoughts and feelings.
4. **Effective Communication**: Research has shown that the therapeutic relationship and the quality of communication are more important than the mode of delivery. Phone and chat sessions allow us to build a strong, trusting relationship and work effectively towards your goals.
**Let’s Get Started**
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here to help. Feel free to reach out and schedule a session. Together, we can find the best way to communicate and work towards your well-being.
