About me
Thank you for visiting my profile. While in my care, you will find a nonjudgmental space to explore possibilities and solutions. Even though venting frustrations can sometimes feel relieving, that relief can be temporary if not fleeting. It is my goal and privilege to help people gain awareness, insight, and process emotions to maximize personal growth.
Let’s reduce emotional suffering effectively and efficiently. I am licensed as a professional counselor in the states of TN and KY. Each year I attend numerous professional trainings and conferences so I can provide proper care for the individuals I see.
I started working in the mental health field over 16 years ago with individuals, families, and couples. Within the last 5 years, I have provided therapy for military service members and their families.
I completed professional trainings in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and attended numerous workshops on couple’s communication, alternative lifestyles and military culture. My experience in the field of psychology includes 11 years serving clients with severe and persistent mental illness. I worked in the community mental health setting as a psychiatric Case Manager, Program Assistant to an intensive outpatient team, Therapist and as an Assessment Clinician. During my graduate program, I interned at Davidson County’s Correctional Development Center, providing therapy for female inmates.
I look forward to hearing from you!
