About me
I have been a licensed counselor for over 20 years and have worked with adults in a number of settings. I hold a Ph.D. in counseling and teach psychology courses (now part-time). I also teach graduate students who are training to become counselors. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, depression, and LGBTQ-related issues. I have extensive training in helping clients understand how their personality, interests, and skills match their current and/or future careers. I believe you are the expert of your own story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Through a cognitive-behavioral/person-centered counseling approach, I will provide you with a safe, nonjudgmental environment for you to openly express yourself as you begin your journey toward your own personal growth and development.
