My therapy experience is working with life concerns regarding personal growth, spiritual growth, relationships, emotions, behaviors, mood swings, addictions or life controlling issues. My therapy style is a blend of motivational counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy and reality therapy depending on the needs of the client. Techniques include individual counseling (talk therapy), substance use disorder recovery planning and relapse prevention skills, facilitation of decision-making and goal setting. In addition, homework exercises maybe given as needed. If there are any significant legal, financial, medical or other areas outside of my expertise, I will refer you to the appropriate independent professional.
