Hello! My name is Dr. Mary Kalpakoff. I am a Licensed Psychologist in Florida. I hold a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree and a Master of Arts in Psychology (M.A.) degree. I have over five years of experience providing therapy in various settings (e.g., integrated medical centers, community mental health, private practice). I treat adults experiencing various mental health difficulties, including: depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma- and stressor-related disorders (e.g., PTSD), substance-related and addictive disorders, personality disorders, relationship difficulties, grief, adjustment issues, moral injury, spiritual struggles, and stress. I believe a good fit between therapist and patient is an integral component to healing. I utilize a warm, compassionate, and multiculturally-sensitive therapy style to collaboratively help individuals achieve their goals. I strive to create a safe and empowering environment for those I have the privilege to work with. I employ an integrative, science-based approach to fit the unique needs of my patients. I have experience providing well-researched, evidenced-based modalities, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Seeking Safety, Trauma Informed Guilt Reduction Therapy (TrIGR), Emotion Efficacy Therapy (EET), and mindfulness. In addition to treating mental health ailments, I am passionate about personal development and assisting individuals to reach their highest potential.
