Welcome! My name is Melissa Bode and I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of FL. I graduated with my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida and have had extensive experience in the field.​ ​I have always enjoyed listening to people’s stories and offering a compassionate ear which led to my passion to become a mental health counselor. I have also seen so much growth by engaging in my own personal work which adds to my desire to help others do the same. ​My clinical experience includes working with adolescents, teenagers, adults, couples, and families in outpatient and intensive outpatient settings. During my time working in the intensive outpatient setting, my passion for strengthening parent-child relationships, parenting and co-parenting struggles, and healthy communication styles grew enormously. I am experienced in working with individuals, couples, and families for treating anxiety, depression, impulse control and behavioral issues, communication challenges, relationship difficulties, stress management, eating issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma, and more.
