I am a marriage and family therapist licensed in New York, with experience working with people from all different backgrounds who are struggling with a wide variety of challenges. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, family conflicts, relationship issues, parenting problems, and difficulties with teenagers and adolescents. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical, emotional, or sexual abuse within the juvenile justice system. My therapy style is interactive and warm, with a focus on motivating my clients to build a healthier lifestyle. I believe that every person is an expert in their own life, my role is simply to ask questions that will help my clients recognize their own struggles and vulnerabilities, and develop personal motivations and goals in their life. My approach combines humanistic, Dialectical -behavioral, and solution-focused therapy, and I can tailor our dialog and treatment plans to meet your unique and specific needs.
