I am licensed in Florida with nearly 7 years of professional grief counseling experience. I have been a master’s level social worker since 2001. The last 7 years my experience has been focused on helping clients with coping with grief and loss, coping with life changes, & compassion fatigue. I have extensive experience in the health care field as a medical social worker in the hospital, outpatient clinic, and hospice settings. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My approach is meeting my clients where they are at; helping my clients identify the challenges in their lives as well as possible solutions and coping mechanisms. I focus on helping my clients navigate difficult life circumstances and adjust to life changes. I work to encourage my clients and help them find hope again in the midst of difficulty.
