I am a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I was trained in both mental health and marriage & family therapy. Furthermore I completed studies at the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy and became a transpersonal hypnotherapist. I also completed trauma studies at the well-known Bessel Van der Kolk Trauma Institute. My original background was in international relations, which I studied at the prestigious University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic. I also received a diploma from the Czech Chamber of Graphology. I believe that my diverse background has given me a broader perspective as a therapist, and as such, I am able to understand and help people with different life experiences. My counseling style is warm and understanding. I meet people where they are currently at. My counseling approach is person-centered and system based. I often use cognitive-behavioral techniques to find problematic behavior and solution-focused techniques to change the problematic behavioral patterns. Of course I apply array of techniques from other fields, e.g. meditation. I am here for you to start the process of healing.
