I am licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York. I completed my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and bachelor’s degree in Psychology at SUNY Old Westbury. I have worked as a private practitioner for the past three years and have six years of experience working at a residential facility for individuals with severe mental illness where I serve as a Community Residence Supervisor. I have developed a strong capacity to provide support to my clients wherever they are at in their process of growth and change, and I keenly know how to support family members of loved ones with mental health concerns, including developmental disabilities, severe and persistent mental health concerns, or cognitive issues such as Alzheimer’s. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to face their challenges and overcome them. I believe that my empathy, active supportive strategies, and intuitive listening affords me the opportunity to build strong rapports with those who seek my services. I am honored and grateful to those that allow me to be a part of their therapeutic journey.
