I am a native New Yorker graduate Cum Laude with a Master of Social Work from New York University. I have over 15 years of Psychotherapist experience working in Mental health, adult behavioral health agencies, ambulatory hospitals, schools, and private practice. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I am empathic, curious, and have a genuine concern for my work as a psychotherapist working with people. I serve young and older adults who are struggling with past and current obstacles such as anxiety, grief, and bereavement. The modality is Solution Focused Brief Therapy. My approach to SFBT is based on questions mastered to invite the client to describe their desired envision outcome, amplify solutions, and instill hope. The questions I ask may have a purpose and are deliberate to what the client is unfolding during a session. The language to the questions matters and is my listening to the problem symptomology using the third-ear sets the tone for ways the client can experience new situations.
