My name is Patricia Haley but my clients affectionately call me “Ms. Pat”. I have been a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas since 1997. I am also an approved LPC supervisor. I have worked with clients who are anxious, depressed, from traumatic and abusive situations, seeking self-improvement and resolutions of problems, parenting, and relationship issues. I have worked face-to-face at public schools, a private practice, and the psychiatric ward of a local hospital. A few years ago, I also started working online with students over 200 miles away. I believe that life is a gift, and I strive to help my clients accept and use that gift in the best way they can to meet their own goals and needs. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy a lot, but I also use whatever approach works best for the individual client and their circumstances. I find it worthwhile to determine what the client has tried in the past coupled with best practices to help them progress with fewer sessions and longer retention.
