About me
I believe that we are each unique and a “one size fits all” isn’t a viable approach to therapy. I am committed to providing my clients with an environment that feels safe, comfortable and free of judgment so a highly-individualized approach can be developed. The burning question of “where do I begin my therapeutic journey?” can feel overwhelming. What you are dealing with today can be the best place to start. I consider therapy a cooperative and interactive process where I offer guidance by listening carefully and finding a path to use your strengths to feel good about yourself and have the best life possible.
I work with my clients using evidence-based, solution-oriented therapy. Establishing clear goals will be the first step to helping you gain skills and tools to live a healthy life. It is critical to identify the skills you have that are working for you and identify the ones that are not. It is necessary to identify how we think and feel about life stresses and situations to better align our beliefs and skills to thrive in an ever-changing, ever-challenging world.
I have 25+ years working with adults, adolescents, and couples. I have expertise in a wide variety of mental health concerns as well as work-related issues and relationship challenges.
My approach to therapy is warm and open while also being direct and honest. I’m not here to judge you or tell you what to do. I will work with you to help you better understand yourself and the world you live in.
