I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with experience working in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and residential helping people with substance use and mental health issues. Specific concerns I work with include depression, anxiety, OCD, and ADHD. I have a specific area of expertise in helping people who have experienced trauma or abuse, including those who grew up in a dysfunctional household and those dealing with PTSD. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I get to know my clients through genuine curiosity, avoiding labels so as to not put my clients in a box; I find it more valuable and useful for both myself and my clients, to get to know an individual for who they are rather than what their diagnosis is. My approach combines humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and some psychodynamic. I will adjust my approach to best fit your unique and specific needs.
