Hi my name is Rachel Locklear. I enjoy helping women overcome obstacles in their lives to empower them to put away hindrances that are blocking their full potential. My counseling approach is warm and relational. I enjoy assisting women in identifying and building on their strengths to help them reach their goals. I use a client-centered approach meaning I tailor my counseling practices to my client’s specific needs. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida and a Licensed Independent Social Worker – Clinical Practice in the State of South Carolina. I have experience working with young women as they make relationship decisions, career choices and overcome emotional obstacles. I have also worked with families as they welcome children into their lives through foster care or adoption. In addition, I have experience in Medical Social work with the geriatric population and have assisted families in the adjustment of arranging for care for their aging loved ones. Pursuing counseling is a wonderful first step to a more fulfilling life. I look forward to joining you on your journey.
