Hi, my name is Racquel Smith, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I earned my Master of Social Work and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hunter College in New York City. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including infertility, parenting issues, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, and loss and grief. I also helped many people who have end of life concerns. My treatment style is laid back but warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines person centered therapy, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing. I also look at a person’s strength because we are always our biggest critic. I believe everyone has tools in their tool kit to build on their strengths and I am here to guide you. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I meet my clients where they are and work collaboratively, at their pace, to make them feel safe and supported.
