My name is Rosalyn Patrice Dunn, but please call me “Patrice.” I graduated from The Ohio State University in Health Education, then the University of North Texas in Counseling, and currently I am enrolled at Texas Tech University completing my PHD in Counselor Education. I have taught 4th-12th grade, been an middle school counselor, and now own and operate my private practice, Real Life Counseling (12 years). I work with individuals 12 and up that are concerned with anxiety, depression, AD(H)D, grief and loss, life transitions, parenting, relationships, and adjustment disorders. My theoretical approach is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe that if I can help clients identify their thoughts and emotions they can learn the skills to change their behavior. It is my role to create an environment that is caring and comfortable. Our relationship will be based on trust, honesty, and commitment to helping my client live their best life.
