Hello! My name is Roxana Rodriguez, i am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I received my Masters Degree in Mental Health from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. I have had the opportunity of working with various populations and ailments. I have experience working with the Elderly, Homeless population, Immune compromised HIV / AIDS population, Adolescents and families, LGBTQ. I am a friendly, energetic, compassionate individual who enjoys helping individuals in this journey of life. At times life throws us some curve balls, some in which we see coming and can’t help but get affected by them, and others in which we never thought would hit us and we are left dealing with some unanswered questions. I am here to support and guide you through living a life in which you feel in control, and able to reach your full potential. The journey to reaching our full potential is not always easy, my counseling approach is fluid and is geared to help achieve the goals for each unique individual depending on what your needs are. I have experience in approaches such as CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), Solution Focused, Dialectical Behavior Therapy. My approach is one in which is warm, empathetic, non judgmental and patient. I have experience working with Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, Personality Disorders, gender identity problems, anger management. I am excited to start this journey with you!
