I received my masters in social work from the Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work. Currently, I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-R) with over 12 years of experience working with a diverse population of families, couples, adults and groups at a large non-profit organization whom suffer from depression, anxiety, panic disorders, personality disorders, AD/HD disorder etc. However, I have particular interest in working with persons, who are struggling with various life transitions such as entering college, retirement, new or ending marriage/ relationship, new mothers and fathers and military families amongst other transitional periods that life brings them to increase their self-esteem as well as to help them gain a deeper understanding of their symptoms so they could led a fulfilling life. Lastly, working with biracial or multicultural individuals or interracial couples that are struggling with various aspects of their selves or relationship such as family issues and/or interpersonal difference is a passion of mine. I have an eclectic approach to therapy but I particularly draw on Psychodynamic, solution focused therapy and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) techniques and tailor them to the individual needs of my clients who are unique in their own ways.
