My name is Samantha Schmitt LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. I have five years of experience in professional counseling, and approximately three years of experience prior to providing addictions counseling and in home community support work with families. My expertise is related to the management of challenging behaviors, addictions counseling, working with individuals who have experienced who have experienced trauma, and general mental health problems. My therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavior Therapy, where I help others understand the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Additionally, I take a wholesome approach to look at one’s environmental and behavioral factors that may be adjusted or adapted to in order to increase positive experiences within their lives. Life can be so difficulty at times, but I’m here to help you see how it’s still absolutely beautiful. I’m here to listen. I’m here to help guide you. I’m here to help you make the changes you want to make because I believe your life can be whatever you want it to be.
