I am Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 3 years of professional work experience with youth, adolescents, and adults in a community mental health setting serving at-risk youth and their families. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, anger management, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey. My approach to counseling is through the lens of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and incorporates aspects of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I’ve completed additional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, and Attachment-Based Family Therapy, and I plan to continue pursuing certification in those modalities.
