I want to provide you with information about myself to see if you think we would be a good match. I am a social worker licensed in the state of Michigan and I have been in the field for three years. I have worked with clients with a wide variety of concerns including depression, anxiety , OCD, Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, Borderline personality disorder, PTSD, substance use, grief, and relationship issues. I have helped many people who have experienced trauma in their life. My therapy style is warm, kind and compassionate. I want to be a positive person who can provide you the support you need in these difficult times. I like to provide an enriching and open environment free of judgement or criticism. I want to be able to create a comfortable environment so you are able to express your struggles and what is going on in your life. I like to use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. I also take a person centered approach to my work and treatment plan. I want you to be in charge of what goals we work towards and in developing your goals. We will work together to tailor a plan and treatment specifically for you. I want to interact in whatever way is most comfortable to you. I am available for live sessions, phone sessions and messaging.
